Inclusive & Informed Birth Support
Do any of these sound familiar?
Social and reproductive justice are important to you. You want a doula who will advocate for your right to pursue the full
spectrum of options related to your body, your birth, and your baby.
Whether or not you intend to use pain medication, you want to use tools like movement, breath, and relaxation to stay
calm, connected, and present.
You're a planner who wishes you had time to take all the classes and read all the books, but you're doing your best to release
expectation and go with the flow.
You want a doula who is mental health and trauma-informed after experiencing fertility challenges, loss, past birth trauma,
anxiety, or depression.
You value evidence-based best practices AND your body's intuitive wisdom.

My name is Jillian (she/her).
I'm a birth doula, perinatal educator,
and trauma-informed practitioner.
Birth Doula | Educator | Trauma-Informed Practitioner
I began my journey as a birth doula seven years ago when I was pregnant with my first daughter, and I've since supported over 100 births in the Twin Cities.
My goal is for clients to feeI educated & empowered to make decisions that are right for their body, their baby, and their future. Nobody knows what's best for you, except for you -- even if you need some guidance to access that inner knowing from time to time.
I approach my work with a healthy dose of both head and heart, appreciating what research and modern medicine can teach us while also honoring your cultural wisdom and knowledge of your own body. I'm humbled and honored to do this work, and I hope to have the chance to talk with you soon!
